We have also asked our cleaners to follow all PPE guidelines at all times as well as keep their distance from our customers while in their homes and businesses.
Our cleaners go into businesses and homes every day, and so the risk of spreading covid is high, unless you are vaccinated, wear a mask and wash your hands. The covid vaccine goes a long way in preventing our cleaners from getting the virus which allows them to work and saves them from a potentially life-threatening situation. We know that the vaccine won’t do this alone, though. So, our cleaners wear the correct PPE at all times and wash their hands regularly.

We feel very strongly about the covid vaccine and that all cleaners should have it. It is vital that if you’re entering a business or a home, you are protected from the virus. This helps stop the virus from spreading and stops it from entering our customer’s properties, but it can also save our cleaners from getting the virus as well. We have encouraged all of our cleaners to get the vaccine and the boosters as well. We are very pleased that a large percentage of Cleaning Express employees have the vaccine and the boosters and are making our customer’s homes and businesses a safe environment for everyone.
In order to keep our cleaners and customers safe, though, we have employed a multi-pronged defence. So, we have encouraged our cleaners to get the vaccine, but we also have rules in place that say they must wear masks and wash their hands regularly. They also must keep at least 2 metres away from our customers while in their homes if at all possible. The multi-pronged defence is the best way of stopping the spread of covid, and the vaccine is an important part of this defence.

This has meant changing some of our cleaning practices, offering advice to our cleaners, and employing new cleaning solutions to help our customers tackle covid as well. - Any cleaner that feels unwell or has covid symptoms must stay home and self-isolate following the NHS advice.
- Any customers are asked to postpone their cleaning sessions if they have covid symptoms.
We ask all of our cleaners to follow mask and face-covering guidelines and to wash their hands regularly.
We have also asked our cleaners to pay close attention to regularly touched areas of our customer’s businesses and homes, door handles, switches and countertops, for example.
We’ve also asked our cleaners to give our customers plenty of space while in their homes and businesses and have asked our customers to do the same.
