Hot water extraction method
Hot water extraction – known commonly as carpet shampooing – is the most popular carpet cleaning method. It efficiently disinfects your carpets and lifts stubborn stains and odours. What’s more, it’s environmentally friendly and safe for children and pets.
This method is suitable for synthetic or mixed carpets including polyester, microfibre, and wool fibre.
Step 1: Pre-cleaning survey and vacuum cleaning
Our carpet cleaner will vacuum the carpet to remove any loose dirt and dust. They will then inspect any stains (if needed) and choose the most appropriate cleaning chemical. Different professional stain removers will be used depending on the type of stain. We cannot guarantee that all stains will be lifted if they have gone deep into the fabric, but our technicians will do their best. Generally, the longer the stain has been there, the more difficult it will be to remove it.
Step 2: Cleaning carpets using professional hot water extraction machine
Our technician will thoroughly go over every bit of your carpet with the cleaning machine.
The machine injects water and cleaning solution deep into carpet cleaning fibres under pressure and collects accumulated soil, grime and dust. It then sucks up the cleaning solution and all the dirt in exactly the same way as a normal hoover. After just one pass, your carpet will be clean and almost dry, as the machine removes 95% of the water it uses.
Step 3: Stain protection (Scotchguard) – recommended for busy carpeted areas
If you have booked StainGuard protection, our operative will apply an invisible stain protection liquid to the carpets. This coating will make the carpet resistant to everyday soiling and both oil-based and water-based stains. It prevents the penetration of liquids without impacting your carpet’s colour or texture. Using stain protection keeps your carpets fresh for much longer and they will be a lot easier to clean in the future.
Step 4: Drying and ventilation
Your carpets will be slightly damp and usually need between 2 and 6 hours to dry. We recommend keeping the windows open to increase ventilation and speed up drying. The carpet technician may also decide to leave a fan to increase the airflow.

I booked a deep clean of my flat including steam clean of carpet. I was impressed with the service from start to finish. The cleaner claimed that she showed up earlier than she did (checked time the keys were picked up with concierge office) and left 30 min early.There was dust under the rug (which was supposed to be cleaned, the area under the rug that is)The counter tops still had dirt on themSome cabinets had water streak lines and other grime left on itThe bathtub looks like it has been rinsed but not scrubbedMy partner and I had to go in and re-clean some areasNo supervisor came to check the clean at the end of the service. However customer service have explained that supervisors are available Monday to Friday mainly. They also offered a partial re-clean however since we are not able to go back into the property they were happy yo provide us with a partial refund. The company also suspended the cleaner for retraining. Bias for action on the customer service end.Based on the customer service I have rated them 4 stars.

How long does the carpet cleaning take?
Our carpet cleaning services generally take 20-40 minutes per room. Several factors affect this, such as the size of the carpeted area, the presence and severity of stains, and pre-treatment. We should be able to advise you of a rough time after we’ve inspected the room.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
It takes around 5 – 7 hours for the carpet to get fully dry after the cleaning.
What equipment do you use for the carpet clean?
We use the most advanced powerful Alltec Evolution machines for wet extraction carpet cleaning, using either Alltec or Prochem cleaning solutions. We can use Eco-Friendly chemicals for your cleaning as well.
Do I need to move furniture before the cleaning?
Our carpet cleaning technician will move light furniture to clean underneath, and will also put it back after cleaning. We recommend you remove small, fragile, or valuable items from the room to avoid any unnecessary breakages.
Do you take the carpet away?
No, we do not remove your carpet. Our carpet cleaner has everything necessary to complete the cleaning on site.
Can the carpet steam cleaning remove stains?
Hot water extraction cleaning does a decent job of removing carpet stains. However, we cannot guarantee that it’ll remove all stains, depending on the type, age, and size. Please let us know of any stains that require treatment when booking your carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning services.
Can I request a quote over the phone?
We can offer you a quote for your carpet cleaning services by phone if you provide us with all the relevant information. Our customer service opening times are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Online quotes for domestic carpet cleaning services are available 24 hours a day. We might require a site visit for the commercial carpet cleaning services.
What happens if my carpets get damaged?
If an accident occurs, we will be able to take care of it. Our company is fully insured and cover cleaning / damage accidents.
Do I need to pay for the parking / CC / ULEZ charge?
We will need to drive to your property to bring all our equipment. As such, parking, congestion, and ULEZ charges will be added to your quote if they apply to your postcode and road. Of course, we will not charge parking if you can provide a permit or if there is free parking on site.
Will carpet cleaning help with odour removal?
