Professional Cleaning Built Around High Standards

Cleaning Express has grown significantly since we began in 2015. We started as a handful of cleaners, but now our teams complete more than 2,000 cleans every week across London for homes and businesses. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver excellent work every time, even for clients with complex cleaning requirements.

Our work takes us all over London, from prestigious offices and private medical facilities to business centres, retail premises, restaurants, warehouses, industrial sites, and large residential developments. Cleaning such varied spaces helps us to stay at the top of our game as there’s always a new interesting challenge, whether it’s cleaning an iconic London landmark or coordinating across multiple sites.

As Cleaning Express has developed, we have continued to invest in our people, customer service, management systems, and technology. This allows us to take on increasingly complex work while maintaining the standards and personal service that remain central to our business model that has served us well for more than a decade.

Cleaning for Businesses and Large Organisations

Our commercial clients include major international businesses, recognised brands, professional and membership organisations, charities, private healthcare providers, property and investment businesses, business centres, hospitality operators, and industrial and wholesale companies.

As you can see, our experience extends well beyond traditional office cleaning. Our range of clients takes us to places where standards are the highest in the industry, like food preparation facilities and medical and dental practices. But we also clean places where visual standards are the most important, like retail spaces and showrooms. Different environments require different cleaning practices, and we adapt as needed.

We provide a fully managed commercial cleaning service, so our customers do not have to do anything other than pick a time and date. Every commercial client has a dedicated account manager and access to our responsive operations team.

Services are delivered against an agreed cleaning specification and structured schedule, supported by real-time GPS attendance tracking, replacement cover where required, and ongoing management support. Our supervisors are fully involved in every new commercial contract, helping to ensure we establish the correct cleaning standards, site requirements, and operating procedures from the outset. For larger contracts, we also provide ongoing quality checks and supervisory support.

We happily manage other aspects of cleaning for you, including TUPE where applicable, and can provide COSHH information, risk assessments, and method statements as required. For multi-site clients, we coordinate the service centrally to help maintain consistent standards and clear accountability across different locations. We can also provide commercial cleaning supplies from a range of established brands, including eco-friendly options.

Whether we are responsible for one site or several, our objective is the same: to provide a dependable, professionally managed cleaning service with consistently high standards.

Training, Caring and Supporting Our Cleaning Staff

Since its inception, Cleaning Express has placed considerable emphasis on the safety, training, and support of our cleaning staff. We have built an experienced administration team and work with knowledgeable Health & Safety advisers to help maintain a safe environment for our customers and staff.

Our recruitment, induction, and training processes have continued to develop as the company has grown. We now provide an in-house training course to ensure all our employees work to the same high standards.

The training programme includes 26 video courses, with a further 13 specialist training videos for our deep cleaning and commercial teams. Our supervisors also receive additional BICSc training.

Structured training has become increasingly important as we work across a wider range of domestic and commercial environments. It helps us maintain consistent standards while ensuring our cleaning staff have the knowledge and support required to carry out their work properly.

Since 2019, Cleaning Express has also championed the Living Wage, gradually moving contracts towards London Living Wage rates. After initially becoming a Living Wage Recognised Service Provider, we became a Living Wage Employer in 2023.
We believe that cleaners who are fairly paid and properly trained and supported are more motivated to provide the high standards our customers expect.

Serving Our Domestic Clients Across London

Domestic cleaning continues to be an important part of Cleaning Express. We have recently invested heavily in making our service easier to manage.

Customers can obtain an instant cleaning quote for any area of London, and we have automated much of the process to make things simpler. This allows customers to quickly arrange standard cleaning visits, although our customer service team remains available if you’d like to speak to someone.

We provide regular weekly and fortnightly cleaning and housekeeping services, as well as deep cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, and other specialist services.

Our residential work is not limited to individual households. We also manage portfolios of properties for landlords, property management companies, and relocation companies, helping them coordinate cleaning across multiple properties across London.
In August 2026, we launched the Cleaning Express customer app, giving regular customers another convenient way to manage their cleaning service.

Through the app, customers can view and manage their schedule, send cleaning instructions, cancel sessions, request additional cleans, rate completed visits, manage multiple properties, and communicate with our customer service team through live chat during working hours.

We’re continuing to develop the app by improving existing features and adding new functionality as we learn more about how customers use the service and what would make managing their cleaning easier.

Constantly Improving Our Systems and Processes

Cleaning Express today is a much more diverse and sophisticated business than it was when it was founded.

We have expanded the range of services we provide, developed more structured training and management systems, invested in technology, and built the capability to work with increasingly demanding domestic and commercial customers.

We continually review how we recruit and support our people, how we manage cleaning services, and how customers interact with us.
Some improvements are large projects, such as developing our customer app or improving the systems used to manage more complex commercial contracts. Others come from listening to customers and staff and making smaller improvements to the way we work.

That willingness to keep improving remains an important part of Cleaning Express.

Supporting Communities and The Wider Environment

Cleaning Express has strong roots in Greenwich, where our head office is based, and we have always tried to support the communities around us.

For example, the war in Ukraine affected us particularly deeply, as a number of our management and cleaning staff have strong links with Ukraine. Our team worked to send supplies, provide free advice, and offer additional training and employment opportunities to Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK. More than 100 Ukrainians subsequently became part of the Cleaning Express team.

We also recognise our responsibility to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. We continue to review our working practices, office operations, and sustainability policies to identify practical ways to reduce waste and operate more responsibly.
