Ana Maria has been my cleaner via Cleaning Express - they also provide excellent replacement cleaners when Ann Marie is away - for over 4 years and she is absolutely wonderful. We used Cleaning Express for a full day deep clean of our house. Our cleaner, Galina, arrived on time and did an incredible job. She focused on all the areas we had requested and even went above and beyond in other areas of the house. She didn't leave until she was happy with it and our kitchen and bathrooms have never looked so clean. We would definitely use this company again and recommend Galina!

My partner and I have been using Cleaning Express for 6 months now. About Lambeth
The name “Lambeth” comes from the earliest record of this region in 1062. Back then, it was called “Lambehitha”, which means “landing place for lambs”. In the Domesday Books, it was actually called “Lanchei”, which most historians think was a mistake.
The Domesday Book is the first record of many place names and what was happening in these places. However, the records were created by asking locals and important figures in the region. If the person collecting the records misheard the person, the person misspoke, or couldn’t spell the name correctly; errors were made. This meant that the place’s name could have been changed forever. It is quite surprising that Lambeth reverted back to the original name after the Domesday Book recorded it. Most places simply didn’t correct the spelling and went with the new place name.
The name itself refers to some sort of harbour that lambs were either shipped to or from. It is formed by two Old English words, “Lamb” and “Hythe”. Lamb, unsurprisingly, means “lamb”, and “Hythe” means harbour. Sadly, the harbour is lost to time, but the name lives on.
There is some fantastic history in Lambeth, and the name error in the Domesday Book is just one part of the fascinating history of the area. Lambeth has been owned by the Archbishop of Canterbury, seen Princes come and go, and has seen massive population increases throughout its life. It holds the history of the industrial revolution, World War Two, and many other major events in English history.
