Most of our customer take advantage of our ironing services while they have one of our cleaning team there already. You can always ask if your cleaner would mind jumping on a pile of clothes while they are there and our cleaners are always happy to tackle any mountain of ironing.

Ana Maria has been my cleaner via Cleaning Express - they also provide excellent replacement cleaners when Ann Marie is away - for over 4 years and she is absolutely wonderful. We used Cleaning Express for a full day deep clean of our house. Our cleaner, Galina, arrived on time and did an incredible job. She focused on all the areas we had requested and even went above and beyond in other areas of the house. She didn't leave until she was happy with it and our kitchen and bathrooms have never looked so clean. We would definitely use this company again and recommend Galina!

My partner and I have been using Cleaning Express for 6 months now. We receive a fortnightly clean of our multi-floor flat and we're so happy with the service they provide.Our regular cleaner, Halyna N, is absolutely brilliant. She's hardworking, completely thorough and very polite, as well as reliable, punctual and flexible. I often can't quite believe how much she's able to do in the timeframe she works in! We believe that better pay attracts and retains higher-quality ironing staff. As a Living Wage Recognised Service Provider we pay our ironers the London Living Wage, an independently calculated wage that is higher than the government minimum wage, and based on the cost of living. The rate is £13.85/hour in London.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are the ironers vetted?
We interview ironers in-person and check their documents to confirm their identity and their right to work in the UK. We also check their proof of address and references. Each ironer has to pass our skills test. Ironers go through induction with one of our supervisors or in the homes of our management team.
Will I have the same ironer each time?
We do our best to provide the same ironer each time and we will provide a replacement if your regular ironer is unwell or goes on holiday.
Can I combine ironing service with domestic cleaning?
Yes, of course! Domestic cleaning includes ironing service. Ironing can be booked on it’s own or combined with the domestic cleaning.
Is it safe to give my ironer a key?
Yes, most of our customers leave keys to their ironers. All ironers are vetted and have been tested on other jobs before starting providing regular ironing service. We hold their documents on file, which will be enough to be tracked by the Police. Cleaning Express also holds comprehensive insurance of £5m for your piece of mind.
Can I book a trial session?
The 1st cleaning session is always a trial one. If you are happy with a cleaner, you can continue on the regular basis. If not, we can arrange a replacement cleaner.
What if I want to cancel my regular ironing arrangement?
Our notice period is 1 week during the first month and 1 month thereafter.
