Ana Maria has been my cleaner via Cleaning Express - they also provide excellent replacement cleaners when Ann Marie is away - for over 4 years and she is absolutely wonderful. Is the mattress worth getting professionally cleaned?
It’s definitely worth using a mattress cleaning company. It’ll help get your mattress back up to standard and will definitely save you money compared to buying all the necessary equipment yourself.
How often should I get my mattress professionally cleaned?
General advice is that you should use a bed cleaning service every 6 months or so for a mattress that’s used every day. For stains and odour removal, it’s best to get the mattress cleaned as soon as possible.
How long will it take for my mattress to dry after cleaning?
We advise leaving your mattress for 24-48 hours before sleeping on it again. Leave the bed unmade and the mattress exposed, and the room’s windows open, to help speed up the process.
Is mattress cleaning safe for children and pets?
Our mattress cleaning service is fine for kids and pets because we don’t use any harsh chemicals during the process. Our products are enzyme-based, which shouldn’t cause any issues or trigger allergies.
Will mattress cleaning help with allergies?
No, we do not remove your carpet. Our carpet cleaner has everything necessary to complete the cleaning on site.
Do I need to be at the property during the cleaning?
You can stay at the house throughout the cleaning session, or our cleaners may pick up the keys from the concierge.
Can I request a quote over the phone?
We can give you a quote over the phone if you provide all the relevant details. Our customer service opening times are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
What if I want to cancel a session?
You can cancel the session up to 48 hours before its scheduled time. There is a £50.00 late cancellation/lock-out fee for cancelling or rescheduling a visit within less than 48 hours’ notice for one-off Clients. The same fee applies if the Cleaners cannot gain access to the client’s home through no fault of Cleaning Express or the cleaner.
Do I need to pay for the parking / CC / ULEZ charge?
Our cleaners will require available parking near the property. Parking charges are extra cost in case you will not be able to provide a parking permit or free parking near the property. Congestion and ULEZ charges are also applied if required within your postcode.
What if my cleaner is running late?
Our cleaners do our best to to arrive at your agreed time. There are situations when traffic is delayed and our cleaner may arrive late. Our cleaners are instructed to contact you if they are stuck in traffic. Please feel free to telephone the office if you need to go and we will try to find out how far the cleaner is from your place.
