What are the best days and times to do commercial carpet cleaning?
We recommend organising commercial carpet cleaning when the property is empty. Most of our clients schedule the service on Saturday to allow the carpet to dry and avoid any hazards for office staff stumbling over cables or hoses of the carpet cleaning machine. Alternatively, carpet cleaning can also be arranged at the end of the day for the area to dry overnight.

Steam Carpet Cleaning
Hot water extraction is our preferred method for carpet cleaning commercial. It cleans deeply and can remove all kinds of stains and marks. Thankfully, most businesses use synthetic or mixed materials in their carpets, meaning this method is usually the most suitable.
Step 1: Survey and vacuum clean
Before we start steam cleaning, your technician will conduct a survey of the area to ensure we use the most suitable cleaning products. This may involve identifying and pre-treating stains and assessing the carpet materials. We’ll also vacuum the area to remove loose dirt and debris.
Step 2: Carpet cleaning
Once we know what the job involves, we’ll bring in our steam cleaning machine. It injects water and cleaning solution into the carpet under pressure and then sucks it all back out along with any set-in dirt and grime. The result is a clean carpet that’s 95% dry by the time the machine is finished cleaning.
Step 3: Stain protection
For high traffic areas, we advise an added layer of stain protection. This may not be necessary in all commercial spaces, but we’ll discuss this during your initial consultation. Of course, if you have booked it, we’ll apply the stain protection at this stage. It works exactly the same as similar products for your shoes by adding a moisture-resistant layer to the carpet fibres.
Step 4: Drying and ventilation
As mentioned, your carpet will be mostly dry by the time we’ve finished cleaning. However, it could take up to another 6 hours to dry, during which time we advise limiting foot traffic. We can arrange to clean your carpet outside of business hours to make this easier.
