Finding good and stable cleaning jobs in London can be challenging. At Cleaning Express it’s all about being a part of the team and contributing towards achieving the highest industry standards. We consider our staff to be the backbone of our business and everything we do. We value each member as a part of the Cleaning Express family.
Most of the jobs we offer are in domestic cleaning (private houses), ironing and housekeeping. We offer part-time work initially and over time offer you more clients if you do a good job. Most of our cleaners have over 10 regular customers with us. Our cleaners can decide where they want to work and the type of the work they want to do.
You will work on self-employed basis giving you flexibility over days and hours you work. If you are unsure what self-employment means you can find out here.
We operate in all London areas. The majority of our clients are located in East London, South East London and North London, however, you will get jobs in the area you prefer to work in. Jobs will last from 2 hours to 8 hours, but most of them are 3-5 hours per session. You will schedule the jobs to suit yourself to work around your commitments. Some of our cleaners prefer to have 1 job per day, others have 2 jobs per day and some manage to take on even 3 jobs per day on certain days.
You will need to be eligible to work in the UK. European nationals must provide settled or pre-settled status. We welcome Ukrainian refugees with Ukraine Family Scheme Visa or Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme Visa (if you don’t have a family in the UK).
We cannot offer any jobs to candidates on Tier 5 visa.
A: Once you have submitted the application form we will review it within 7 days. If you are successful we will email you an invite to attend an interview at our office or arrange a video call. Due to the amount of applications we get we will not respond to unsuccessful candidates.
A: Most jobs will be regular cleaning for our domestic customers. Duties would vary from client to client, but typically would include cleaning surfaces in the kitchen, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, hovering, mopping, tidying up, taking the rubbish outside. You will be given instructions from each of the clients about what needs to be done. If you enjoy ironing we will give you ironing jobs.
A: If you are friendly, positive and flexible we will be able to give you work as much as you want to. We gradually fill your schedule depending on your experience, level of English, availability and willingness to travel.
A: Most of our customers pay cash or pay directly to your bank account.
A: We will simply call you or text you to check if you are interested in the job. If you decide to take a job, you will be sent a confirmation via text message with the date, time and customer address.
