Medical Cleaning London

Cleaning Express delivers quality medical cleaning services to different medical facilities including hospitals, GP practices, nursing homes, residential homes, dental surgeries, health centres and other medical clinics in both the public and private sector. Healthcare providers will need to comply with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations in particular with Outcome 8 “Cleanliness and Infection Control”. CQC carries out occasional visits of the premises as a part of their inspection model to see if there are any failings in any of the areas. Our medical cleaning staff receive appropriate training to ensure they understand COSHH regulations to avoid cross contamination.

We will be able to create an individual cleaning schedule to suit individual cleaning schedule to suit your needs. Colour coding schemes will be used for cleaning materials and equipment. Cleaning Express can also carry out criminal record checks (CRC) before they are granted access to your facility and provide you with their DBS certificates.

What is CQC?

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. They also protect the interests of people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act. Whether services are provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies or volunteer organisations, they make sure that people get better care.

London Living Wage Recognised Service Provider
We believe that better pay attracts and retains higher-quality medical cleaning staff. As a Living Wage Recognised Service Provider our medical cleaners receive the London Living Wage, an independently calculated wage that is higher than the government minimum wage, and based on the cost of living. The rate is £13.15/hour in London.

We aim to allocate the same medical cleaners for your premises on a regular basis. However, if your medical facility is bigger and requires a team of cleaners we will be allocating at least one of them the same every time. In case anything changes, for example, your designated medical cleaner falls sick, goes on a holiday or their personal circumstances change, we will inform you in advance.

We will be able to provide cleaning materials and equipment upon request and subject to availability. We offer a range of office cleaning solutions and we can advise on what’s best for your space. We can also supply equipment, washroom consumablesantiviral disinfectioncarpet cleaning and air purification devices. Please add this to your requirements list and the team will be able to give you a quote.

Damage to your property caused by the healthcare cleaner, theft by the cleaner, key and lock replacement and personal injury to the cleaner.

Our cleaners do not work at night. We can clean your premises between 6am and 10pm.

Our standard commercial services agreement for healthcare cleaning is a minimum of 1 year. We are sometimes able to accommodate rolling contracts.

We carefully interview each of the healthcare cleaners and check their documents to confirm they have the right to work in the UK. We also check their proof of address and references. We have also created a series of online video training courses to upskill our cleaners.

All amendments can be revised by our team provided that cleaner’s availability allows the change, however we may need to amend the quotation according to the updated number of cleaning hours.

We can provide free replacements of our many healthcare cleaning professionals to ensure you are absolutely happy with the service.

This depends on the cleaning tasks requested for the extra session. If it implies standard cleaning- we will keep the regular charge; if you need a deep cleaning of your clinical facility, this will be considered as a one-off and a separate quote will be provided.

Our cleaners are using a specialised mobile app with an integrated clock in/out system which allows us to monitor their attendance, and ensure their safety whilst lone working.
