As a Living Wage Recognised Service Provider our cleaners receive the London Living Wage, an independently calculated wage that is higher than the government minimum wage, and based on the cost of living. The rate is £13.15/hour in London. All of our office cleaning cleaners receive wage above London Living Wage.

Our embassy cleaning and consulate cleaning services cover all aspects of interior cleaning. This includes hoovering and mopping, dusting, office cleaning, wiping down surfaces and light fittings, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and more. We can also provide bin emptying where it fits around any third-party services you might use.

All our embassy cleaners come to jobs with products and equipment as needed. Of course, if you have your own products and equipment you’d like us to use, we’d be more than happy.

We can attend your consulate or embassy between 6am and 10pm, and can fit around your hours as needed.

Cleaning Express has public liability insurance with £10 million of cover. This includes loss, damage and theft of property as well as injury cover.

We fully vet our cleaners and do relevant background checks before employment. However, we also provide full DBS checks, meaning only the most suitable cleaners will be sent to clean your embassy.

We advise your embassy is cleaned at least 3 times a week, although it might be more often for busier or public-facing spaces. We can discuss this during your initial consultation and arrange a schedule to suit.

For embassy cleaning, our standard contract length term is 1 year. After this expires, we can renew it as needed or move to a rolling contract. We’re more than happy to discuss your needs and provide a test session to ensure we meet your expectations.

Our standard notice period for embassy cleaning services contracts is 2 months. We require termination notices in writing and will respond to confirm we’ve received it.

You may be able to amend the length and frequency of your cleaning services. To discuss this, contact your dedicated account manager with your requests and they will look into it for you. Please note, any amendments made to the contract may result in a new price, which you will be quoted as part of the contract revision.

We aim to send cleaners that are most suited to your job. However, if you don’t feel they meet your expectations, we will be happy to replace them with an alternative as needed.
